A sector is a portion of a circle enclosed by two radii and an arc.
- The formula for the area of a sector is: Area = (θ/360°) × π × r²
- Where:
- θ (theta) is the angle of the sector in degrees
- r is the radius of the circle
- π (pi) is approximately 3.14159
- You can also think of it as the fraction of the circle's area: (θ/360°) × (area of circle)
