Does HELB Cover TVET Courses?
Yes. Since 2020, HELB extended its funding to students in TVET institutions accredited by TVETA. MTTI is TVETA-accredited, meaning our students may be eligible for HELB support.

Uasin Gishu County Bursary
If you are from Uasin Gishu County (Eldoret area), you can apply for the county government bursary. This does not require repayment — it is a grant. Applications are usually open at the start of every academic year.
Contact your ward administrator or visit the Uasin Gishu County offices to apply. Bring your admission letter, ID/birth certificate, and a fee structure from MTTI.
National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF)
Every constituency in Kenya has an NG-CDF bursary fund. Visit your local MP’s office or NG-CDF office with your admission letter to apply. Many MTTI students have successfully received NG-CDF funding.
MTTI’s Own Flexible Payment Plan
Even without any external funding, MTTI allows you to pay your fees in installments. You can start classes by paying a deposit and clear the balance as you progress. No student should miss a course just because of fees.
